hey, annual camp isn't in dec. 'cos they shifted it back to march. 'cos initially they were going to climb mt. kinabalu in march, but now they are gonna climb mt. kinabalu next year. so annual camp is pushed back again. oh well, we can still meet in dec right?

Excuse me, but are you guys INSANE?

first and foremost, maybe charmaine doesnt know this since she only flew like twice in her whole entire life. but shou should know better loh. from singapore to london is abt 13+hrs. does the magnitude of how long is that sink in? i sat on a 12hr flight to paris and i wanted to murder someone already.

and i was taking Economy.

on a budget airline,

1) they dont provide food. now they dont allow you to bring food up anymore and a small tiny sandwhich costs $8 and a tiny packet of nuts costs $2.

2) they dont provide any blankets or pillows. you may say it will fine to bring a jacket onboard, but i want to see how you are going to survive 13 hrs on a freezing plane with just a jacket or two.

3) the seat DOESNT recline. it goes back only like 1.5inches which is negligible. trying sitting upright with HARDLY enough leg space for 13hrs. hello economy class syndrome.

4) no entertainment. we will end up killing up each other. or rather, i will kill shou for her little bright idea.

and the price of one budget ticket is not much different from the price of one low-season economy ticket.

for e.g. jet star asia to hk: abt $240+
singapore airlines to hk: abt $300++

they often advertise those unbelievably low rates but in actual fact when you book the ticket, they add in so much stuff that it ends up not not far from an economy class ticket.

i have no problem at all taking budget to say Hong Kong which is only 4 hrs away. but no way will you survive a 13hr flight. you may say right now that budget is cool but you wont be saying the same thing when you are flying for 13hrs and you are bored out of your minds, cant sleep cause its too cramped and cold and you are starving.

take it from someone who flies at least four times a year pls. you wont be able to handle it.
